The Kamasu is essentially a Mako II with a sapphire crystal, a bolder handset and a lumed bezel pip. Both run Orient's in-house F6922 (hacking, hand-winding, about 40 hours) and are rated 200 m with a screw-down crown. The mineral-crystal Mako II is $230.00 today against $252.60 for the Kamasu; that gap is what you pay for sapphire.
